Paul first became established as a picture book artist by working for Andersen Press and on a range of animal books for de Agostini. He has now built up a good reputation by working for various publishers in the UK and the US, and most recently has worked for Frances Lincoln, usually on Eric Maddern texts which seem to be well suited to Paul's style.
